VOJUS,a.s. – short presentation: Vojus\'s rich legacy in manufacturing dates back over 75 years, when the firm that would become Považské Strojárne first began production. In 1993 was privatized as an independent joint-stock company renamed Vojus a.s Since then Vojus has continued to expand its offerings, and now in addition to its selection of machine tools the company also offers a full range of production services related to the design and manufacturing of custom machinery for some of the best known companies in the world. Our Services and Technologies All of Vojus\'s customers are able to benefit from our rich legacy through the breadth, depth and quality of the service that we offer: Production Our factory contains a complete range of over 260 machines that enable us to build any type and any size of machine that our customers require. Welding: Vojus\'s welding center has a full range of technologies which allow us to efficiently execute even the most complicated welds. These includeTIG, MIG and MAG welding machines; semi-automated ESAB welding machines; a Cloos CNC welding robot; sand blasters; annealing furnaces; and vibration equipment used in processing welds. Machining: Vojus\'s 11,000m 2 (118,000 ft 2 ) machining center includes a comprehensive collection of both universal and CNC machines. These include: large scale TOS and Škoda machining centers; MAS and Dixi drilling centers; Maho and Okuma millers; Waldrich Coburg and Reisshauer grinders; Mitsubishi, Sodick and Matra electric erosive machines; and Traub and Vojus lathes. Assembly: Vojus\'s world class assembly shop is staffed with an experienced team of 70 professionals capable of assembling even the most complex and specialized custom machinery. Our 5,000m2 (54,000 ft2) assembly shop floor is equipped with seven overhead cranes that range in loading capacity from 5 to 16 metric tones. Design Vojus\'s engineers have created our own proprietary designs for machine tools, moulds and tools. Yet this team of 20 highly skilled professionals is also available to help our customers refine and finalize their custom designs for production. Quality Control Vojus understands that rigid quality control is an essential part of manufacturing technically specific machinery. Therefore our team for quality control engineers are intimately involved in every step of production to make sure that all pre-agreed specifications are met in accordance with the customer\'s requirements. Service Vojus offers its customers a comprehensive range of post-installation services, and is able to provide on-site maintenance, spare parts and repairs in accordance with each customer\'s specific requirements. Custom manufacturing Vojus\'s primary activity is to manufacture custom machinery in accordance with designs supplied by its customers.
